Ok, Heather and I have written the script and have decided to use a camera-phone to shoot the footage of the miner coming out of the mine. This will be presented by the news reporter (Heather) as...

'Here is some amazing footage from youtube, shot by a passer-by on a camera phone'

This will encorporate a digital element to our performance and the fact that it's on youtube is a prime example of digital performance. We are thoroughly looking forward to filming this- I just hope it's not raining!

We will also include an e-mail in our performance (it will be an e-mail from one of the viewers asking a question to the miner) this gives scope for the miner to ask questions about e-mails and the internet. This is when the reporter will start to talk about the elements of the internet then branch off into internet-based performance.

Our plan then, is to have a piece (like a report), a pre-recorded video that talks about the advantages of using technology in the theatre. This will be our manifesto.
